This course covers the entire Cisco SD-WAN ecosystem — from the foundational architecture (vBond orchestrator, vSmart controller, vManage management plane, and vEdge/cEdge data plane) through control plane operation with the OMP (Overlay Management Protocol), data plane transport using IPSec, flexible policy design for application-aware routing and traffic steering, and Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for rapid branch onboarding.
You will also explore SD-WAN security features including integrated firewall, URL filtering, DNS security, cloud security integration with Zscaler and Umbrella, and advanced monitoring with vManage dashboards. Solid course with great lab infrastructure
The vManage UI labs are very well designed. I would appreciate more coverage of dual-WAN cEdge deployments with ISR hardware but the virtual lab covers all the key scenarios. Good balance of theory and practice.
